I am starting this blog because I have so many inventions and off the wall ideas floating around in my head and need to bounce them off others without fear of seeming like a complete idiot when I find out I'm chasing my tail.
If you have an invention in your head I recommend you discuss it in parts so in case it turns out to be the next Google or billion dollar widgett someone else cannot run with all your thoughts.
My latest thought is considering the viability of simple room temp super conductivity.
ReplyDeleteThe basic idea is to investigate weather it is viable to create a skin effect on the surface of a magnetic field to where charged electrons could easily flow at zero resistance/inductance.
It could work kind of like an electro-magnet but in reverse. In the center or the "conductor" I would have a magnetic substance generating a continuous magnetic pathway.
On the outer surface or "skin" of this magnetic field I would float electrons, suspended in/on the magnetic field. There these electrons would be free to move at the speed of light with no friction induced by the molecular surface of say copper or other metallic conductors.
Heat loss would no longer be a factor. Existing conductor paths (circuits) could be used just by altering their magnetic properties to elevate the electron flow to just a few micrometers off of the conductor's skin.
